Beard lotion is an often overlooked product that can actually provide a host of benefits for your beard - and your skin. Mad Viking beard and body lotion is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a high-quality product to improve the health of their beard and moisturize dry skin.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
At first glance, it may not seem like there's much difference between beard care products. After all, they all serve the same basic purpose: to keep your beard looking and feeling its best. However, when you take a closer look, you'll see that there are some key differences between them all.
Beard oil
is a lightweight product that is designed to soften and condition the beard to cut down on split ends as well as hydrate the skin beneath the beard and reduce the itch. Mostly all of our customers use beard oils at some point in their facial hair grooming routine.
Beard balm
contains beeswax and is a thicker product that provides beard control with both hydration and hold, making it ideal for styling. Also helps with killing the beard itch. Guys with a beard in training from about 6 weeks to 6 months will choose to use beard balms to help train their beard in place.
Beard butter
is a rich and creamy product that contains butters, like organic shea butter and mango and cocoa butter that helps to tame flyaways and provides a light hold. Our longer big beard customers, mostly choose this option along with beard oil in their routine.
Beard and body lotion
is somewhat like a beard oil, leave in conditioner product, however it absorbs faster and has a totally non greasy application with a matte finish unlike the sheen that a beard oil will give off. You can use the beard and body lotion in various ways. We recommend it to anyone growing a new beard who does not like the shine a beard oil will produce and prefers a faster application time. It also pulls double duty for your whole body as well. A lot of our customers use it on their hands, elbows or anywhere they have dry skin. The beard and body lotion can be used as a stand alone product for some beardos, but most of our customers use it as a complimentary product in their beard care grooming arsenal. It works great for touch ups and as a night time leave in beard conditioner and also doubles as a cologne that works with any scent we carry.
WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN IT TO HELP MY BEARD?
Organic Aloe Leaf Juice:
Cuts down beard itch and reduces bacterial activity in the beard. Helps facial skin stay younger and fresher. Can reduce beard acne. Helps restore damaged skin cells and clear away dead ones. Very soothing on razor burn, especially on the throat areas where the skin is super sensitive. If your beard gets dried out easily, aloe vera helps re-moisturize not only the beard, but the skin as well.
Organic Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil for the beard is an alternate moisturizing ingredient that conditions each strand of hair deeply from the inside out. This prevents internal moisture loss, giving your beard a fuller, healthier appearance.
Organic Jojoba Seed Oil:
Jojoba oil helps soften and smoothen rough hair and helps to tame your unruly beard hairs. It also helps keep beard dandruff to a minimum and soothes dry itchy skin beneath the beard.
Vitamin E:
Vitamin E oil is one of the best natural oils for reducing beard dandruff and itchiness in the beard. This is because it moisturizes the skin exceptionally well, reducing dryness of the beard.
Sunflower Seed Oil:
Sunflower Seed Oil is great if you want to grow a longer, thicker and fuller beard. It is rich in omegas, fatty acids, and Vitamins A and C. The omegas allow the oil to have anti-inflammatory properties, which aid in healthy beard growth.
Organic Neem Seed Oil:
Putting neem oil into the beard and skin is a great way to promote beard health, soften and make that beard shine. Neem oil will help stimulate blood flow and unclog blocked follicles and reduce ingrown hairs. Which may help fight hair loss. Soothes irritated skin beneath the beard.
